Holding Space for You.

Choosing a therapist can feel daunting. It is a deeply personal decision and you want to feel like you are making a good choice. The right fit can make all the difference in your therapeutic journey. When we sit together, my intention is to always take a position of curiosity, collaboration, and deep listening.

You deserve a safe space where all parts of you are welcome and you can be seen for who you truly are.

I am here to help you find wholeness and move beyond the symptoms to connect with your deeper inner wisdom. Depth psychology is about allowing the parts that have been repressed or rejected to come forward, be witnessed, and re-integrated in order to experience transformation and healing from suffering. This work may come in the form of tending to your dream-life, body sensations, exploring your inner thoughts and feelings, or exploring life experiences and pathways to liberation, embodiment, and self-compassion.

About Nikki Rollo, PhD, LMFT, CEDS-C, PMH-C

female therapist in office with plants in the background

My areas of passion and expertise are in working with women to explore the unique challenges and decision making about relationships and starting a family, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum mood and anxiety, and mothering. I a Perinatal Mental Health-Certified and certified as a specialist in eating disorders and work specifically with disordered eating and body image. My practice also focuses on anxiety and mindful and spiritually-informed approaches to therapy.

I take an embodied and compassion-focused approach to therapy and also offer gentle challenges and honest feedback as necessary in service of our relationship and your relationship with yourself. I am interested in working with people on the intersection of body shame, maternal mental health, and the symbolic nature of disordered relationship with food.

I am deeply inspired by the work of Carl Jung and Marion Woodman and am a student of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices, often squeezed into the in-between spaces of working and raising kids. I love reading Mary Oliver poetry and I often incorporate somatic oriented work such as meditation, breath work, and guided imagery into sessions in order to help you feel grounded, connected to your body, and have internal resources you can draw on when you are living daily life in challenging times.

Personally, I am a working mom of 3 and a city-dweller. I really appreciate conversations about embodiment and finding the sacred and spiritual in the mundane, busy, every day logistics of life and especially supporting people in navigating mothering and a career in the city. I also work with people more generally on issues of life path, anxiety and stress management and connecting deeply to one’s inner life and wisdom.
